Privacy policy.
This page sets out which data we process when you use this website and what rights you have.
Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Björn Prickartz Digital Analyst, Löwenburgstrasse 22, 53797 Lohmar. Email: info@test-elevate.com, phone: +49 178 8543688.
Summary
We do not use analytics or tracking services, ad networks or social media plugins. We load fonts and images from our own server. We process personal data only for the technical operation of the website and when you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone.
Hosting and server log files
Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur. When the site is accessed, the server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time, the address requested, the status code of the response, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page as well as information about the browser and operating system. We process this data in order to deliver the website and to operate it securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
Contact form and inquiries
When you submit the form, we process your name, your email address, your message and the selected topic. If you provide them, we also process company, phone number, shop system and the information on traffic. In addition, the time of the inquiry, the language, the address of the previously visited page and an encrypted identifier of your IP address (a hash, not the address itself) are added automatically.
We use this information to answer your inquiry. The legal bases are your consent, which you give with the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, with a simple email to info@test-elevate.com. Without your name, email address and message we cannot process your inquiry.
Your inquiry is stored in a database at our hosting provider and forwarded to us as an email. You will receive a confirmation of receipt at the address you provided. The recipient is the hosting provider IONOS SE as a processor, for the database and for sending the email. There is no transfer to other third parties unless we are legally required to do so.
We delete inquiries in the database after 24 months. If an engagement results, we retain documents for which the law provides retention periods, for example under Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), for as long as required.
Protection against misuse
To prevent anyone from overloading the form with automated submissions, we count the submissions per sender and check how long the form was open. For this we use the encrypted identifier of your IP address. We delete the counter files after 7 days. An error log contains neither form content nor IP addresses in plain text. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in a secure form.
Contact by email or phone
If you write to us by email or call us, we process your information in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete this information once the request has been dealt with and no retention obligation exists.
Cookies and local storage
When you open the contact form, our server sets a session cookie. It contains a random identifier with which we protect the form against third-party requests, and it is deleted when you close the browser. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
In addition, for the duration of the session your browser remembers in session storage that the entry animation has already been shown (entry te-seen). The entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to us and disappears when you close the tab.
Readiness Check
The Readiness Check runs in your browser. Your answers are not transmitted to us. If you then click Discuss your result, your browser briefly stores a summary of your answers in session storage (entry te-readiness) and enters it as text in the message field of the contact form. You can see and change the text before sending. We only process data once you submit the contact form, then as described in the Contact form section.
Links to other websites
On the About us page we link to LinkedIn profiles. No data is transmitted to LinkedIn when our website is accessed. LinkedIn's privacy notices apply only once you click a link.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3)). To do so, write to info@test-elevate.com. Automated decision-making including profiling does not take place.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
